Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Love Your Body Studios collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@loveyourbodystudios.com.
1. Who We Are
Love Your Body Studios is a non-invasive body contouring and wellness studio with three locations in California:
- West Hollywood, California
- Manhattan Beach, California
- Newport Beach, California
This policy covers our website at loveyourbodystudios.com, the booking and communication tools we use to schedule appointments, and the information you share with us in person at our studios.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, through the booking platforms we use, and automatically when you browse our website.
Information you give us directly. When you book an appointment, contact us, or visit one of our studios, you may give us:
- Contact details such as your name, phone number, and email address
- Appointment information such as the service you booked, the studio location, the date and time, and your visit history with us
- Health and intake information you choose to share with us at the studio so that we can deliver services safely (described in more detail in Section 6)
- Anything else you include when you email us or send us a message, including the content of that message
Information collected through our booking platforms. We use third-party booking and business management platforms, Zenoti and Mindbody, to schedule appointments and process payments. When you book with us, your contact and appointment details are handled through those platforms, and any payment is processed by them or their payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.
Information collected automatically on our website. Like most websites, ours collects limited technical information when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or search that referred you. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies and through the analytics tools we use to understand how the site is performing.
Embedded third-party content. Some parts of our website are provided by other companies, including a Google reviews widget delivered through Trustindex, links to Google Maps for directions to our studios, and links to our Instagram and Facebook pages. Embedded and linked content can collect information about your visit under the provider’s own privacy policy. See Section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide the services you have asked for and prepare for your appointment
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and remind you about appointments
- Screen for safety, so that our team knows whether a treatment is appropriate for you and how to adapt it
- Communicate with you, including answering questions, following up after a visit, and sending service-related messages
- Process payments and keep accurate business records
- Understand how our website is used and improve its content, layout, and performance
- Protect our clients, our staff, and our business, and meet our legal and tax obligations
If you have opted in, we may also send you marketing emails or texts about promotions and new services. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use health or intake information for marketing of any kind.
4. Our Legal Basis and Your Consent
In plain language, here is why we are permitted to handle your information:
- Because you asked us to. When you book an appointment, we need your contact and appointment details to deliver the service. This is the information required to perform our side of the agreement with you.
- Because you consented. Health and intake information is provided voluntarily by you at the studio, and marketing messages are sent only to people who opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time, though in some cases we may not be able to provide a service safely without the relevant information.
- Because we have a legitimate business reason. Keeping our website secure and functional, understanding site traffic, keeping records of appointments, and preventing fraud are ordinary and expected parts of running our studios.
- Because the law requires it. We keep certain records to meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of outside services to run our business and our website. Each of them handles data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.
- Zenoti and Mindbody — booking, scheduling, client records, and payment processing. Depending on the studio and the service, your booking may run through either platform. Both act as processors of your personal information and payment details.
- Google and Trustindex — our website displays Google reviews through a Trustindex widget, and we link to Google Maps for studio directions. Loading this content may allow Google and Trustindex to collect technical information such as your IP address.
- Analytics tools — we use website analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are most visited.
- Instagram and Facebook — our website links to our social media profiles. If you follow one of those links or interact with us on social media, the platform’s own privacy policy applies to that activity.
We share personal information with these providers only so that they can perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our staff, or the public.
6. Health and Intake Information
Some of our services require us to know about your health before we begin. At the studio you may be asked about things such as relevant medical conditions, medications, implants or devices, pregnancy, recent procedures, or areas of concern.
We treat this information with particular care:
- We collect only what we need to determine whether a service is safe and appropriate for you.
- Access is limited to the staff involved in your care and in maintaining your client record.
- We keep it confidential and do not disclose it to third parties except as needed to deliver your service, or where the law requires it.
- We never use it for marketing, advertising, or profiling, and we never sell it.
You may decline to share health information, but if we cannot confirm that a treatment is safe for you, we may not be able to provide it.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly, remember basic preferences, and gather anonymous statistics about how the site is used. Embedded third-party content, such as the Google reviews widget, may also set cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking cookies may cause some parts of the website not to work as intended.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. In practice, that means we keep client and appointment records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we have an accurate service history and can meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Records held inside the booking platforms are retained according to those platforms’ policies and our settings within them.
9. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- The right to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep by law.
- The right to correct personal information that is inaccurate.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out method.
- The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use health and intake information only to deliver services safely, which is already within the permitted uses.
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you made a privacy request.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@loveyourbodystudios.com with your request and enough detail for us to find your record, such as the name, email address, or phone number you booked with. We will verify your identity before acting on the request, and we will respond within the time frames required by California law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we choose booking and payment providers that maintain their own security standards. No website, database, or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive health details by email or social media message; share those with us at the studio instead.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, the tools we use, or the law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the website. Please check back occasionally so you know how your information is handled.
